Tuna Pouch Tampon Case
After seeing the Capri Sun pouch bags and coinpurses, I was up for the challenge of designing something from packaging!

Please consider this project for the humor and functional simplicity it is intended.

Before throwing away the package I thought "Now, what can I make with this?"
It just seemed right that it should become a tampon case!

What's great about this project is that it involves absolutely no sewing and takes minutes to create!  Believe me, I sat for an hour or so coming up with various ways to embellish it.  Some thoughts were using thick white rope and big eyelets to give it a "marine" look, vintage balled trim or a snap closure(the packaging would tear) or even rhinestones.  I decided simple was best with a stick on velcro circle.

First, cut off the top.  Then clean with soap and water or run through the dishwasher making sure to put it on the top rack upside down so the inside gets cleaned out really well.  I then sprayed some Fabreeze inside for good measure and let it dry.  I might put in a small sachet with lavender, but it actually doesn't smell once it's cleaned.  Then stick on the little velcro dot inside.

Done!  This case will hold four tampons!  HA! HA!  It works!
As seen in BUST Magazine!
