Last Minute Gift Card Wallet

Here's a last minute Christmas project!

My daughter's boyfriend is hard to buy for and she suggested gift cards.  I really didn't like the cardboard cases they came in so in keeping with my Handmade Christmas I decided to make a felt wallet for them.

Simply cut a piece of felt a bit wider and twice as long as the card.  Fold it over and stitch up the sides.  Embellish the front as you wish and cut with pinking shears on the edges.  If you don't sew, you can use a fabric glue such as Fabri Tac by Beacon Adhesives found at Walmart.  It dries fast and clear.  You can also hand stitch if you wish.

You can even use brown kraft paper like the business card holders I created now located in the archives.

I think it makes the gift a bit more personal.
